We were able to add 2 more bedrooms in the next few years making it 6 bedrooms and 6 baths. We also modernized and renovated the kitchen with granite and stainless steel appliances in 2012.
We Experienced major damage with Hurricane Odile in 2014 but we were again blessed and I drove down because the airports were closed and we had great relationships over the years that helped repair over $80,000 in damages in 31 days! We replaced the roofs, sliding glass, doors, replaced the palapas and completely redid 2 of the master suites? We've since upgraded the furniture always wanting to provide a great authentic Mexican experience in a quality comfortable well maintained home!
In 2006 after 2 years of having many guests ask if we had a second home because they were doing a family generation trip, destination wedding or large group get away we decided to take the plunge and pursue a second home in Cabo. After 3 properties fell through we decided to buy the home being built next door and take over the final design finishes and construction phases allowing us to personalize the home and truly make it our own
We added a separate casita and another small kids bedroom, upgraded the pool & spa and finishes throughout. We added solar to the home and replaced it and all of the palapas after hurricane Odile in 2014 as well.
Owning these homes has been both easy at times And extremely difficult at others! The rewards of sharing these two side by side villas on the beautiful hills of Costa Azul and hearing all of the great stories and memories that have been created there have made it all worth while.
